Carolina Cury is a classical-contemporary pianist, singer, songwriter and improviser from Venice, Italy. She has completed her Masters’ degree at Trinity Laban Conservatoire in 2020 and is continuing her studies on the Artist Diploma programme under the guidance of Deniz Gelenbe. In 2021, she won the Trinity Laban’s Gold Medal award, the most prestigious in the conservatoire, and in 2022, she won the first prize at the John Halford Competition both for the performance of contemporary piano works and for a new work for piano, voice and electronics, in collaboration with composer Jan Stevuliak.
Carolina has performed in international music halls, such as the Teatro La Fenice (Sale Apollinee) in Venice, Carnegie Hall (Weill Hall) in New York, Megaron Theatre (Mitropoulos Hall) in Athens, and at Southwark Cathedral in London.
