Xiaoyu Yu used to study with Zhi Pan who is teaching in Central Conservatory of Music (China). Graduate from London Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music in 2020. Now continue her MMus degree in Trinity Laban study with Diana Cummings and John Crowford. Her major study is violin, also learned piano, conducting, arrangement, film music composition and producing during study in Trinity. Xiaoyu Have been award Trinity College London Scholarship, Leverhulme Trust scholarship and GREAT China scholarship. Xiaoyu has many teaching experiences. In China, she taught violin in Bilingual High school and Yue Lin music school. She also played in many orchestras include Trinity Laban symphony orchestra, Ernest Read Symphony orchestra, Wen Hua Ai Yue symphony orchestra. Now she is focusing on music education and researching question about how to improve violinists flow experience during practicing and performing based on theory of Alexander technique and Mihaly Csikszentmihalyi ‘s optimal experience.
Jiyun Zhang is a passionate violinist who is currently studying with Pieter Schoeman (Leader of London Philharmonic Orchestra) at Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance since September 2020. Highlights of last few years including; winning the second prize of violin competition in Guangdong Province in 2019, forming first local “Music College students’ orchestra” and successfully made our debut playing Vivaldi Four Seasons in 2020, Playing Mendelssohn Piano Trio No.1 at Wigmore Hall in May 2022, Co-leading Orion Orchestra two concerts in August 2022. Playing the first violin part of Dvorak Piano Quintet with Irina Lyakhovskaya, Professional accompanist at Trinity Laban in October 2022. "Jiyun is a very passionate musician with fine musical taste. He is also a delightful person with impeccable social skills and a wonderful sense of humor." - Pieter Schoeman.
Victoria Finstad is a cellist born in Oslo, Norway, who is currently in her second year of undergraduate studies at Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance under the tuition of Natalia Pavlutskaya. Victoria started playing the cello at the age of 5 with her father, and at the age of 7, she joined Nor59 string institute. In 2015, Victoria was accepted to Oslo Music and Culture Schools talent program which focuses on chamber music, and in 2016, she started attending the music program at Edvard Munch upper secondary school. With Nor59 Victoria has participated in several tours and cd productions, including opera, ballet, and jazz conducted by Stefan Plewniak. In January 2023 she was selected as a finalist in the Vivian Joseph Classical Concerto Competition. Victoria has been taught by Nikita Sirotenko, Bård Henrik Bostrup, Kristine Solberg, and Dr Anzél Gerber.
Yuri Inoshita is a pianist based in London, who was born in Barcelona and raised in Paris and Tokyo. She started her piano lessons and musical training at the age of 5. From the age of 7, she studied piano, solfege, and choir in the Conservatoire de Saint-Germain en Laye. After she moved to Japan at the age of 10, she started her training on dictation, harmony, sight reading and chamber music besides the piano lessons in Toho Gakuen School of Music. In 2017, she graduated from Toho Gakuen High School of Music, majoring in piano performance under the tuition of Mikako Abe. Besides her musical training in Toho Gakuen, she graduated from Hosei University, majoring in Intercultural Communication. Since the very young age, she has participated in several masterclasses taken by international pianists such as Jérôme Granjon, Pablo Galdo, Dmitri Alexeev, Pascal Rogé, etc. Yuri is currently on her postgraduate studies at Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance, majoring in piano performance under the tuition of Martino Tirimo.
