Biographies


Born in Tashkent, Uzbekistan, Alina Pritulenko began playing the piano at the age of five and started performing from the age of seven at numerous concerts, festivals and masterclasses, soon becoming a laureate of the International Competitions such as “Le Muse” in Napoli, Italy and “Iste’dod” in Tashkent, Uzbekistan. In 2008, Alina started her musical education at the Republican Specialized Academic Lyceum of Music named after V. Uspensky. During eleven years of education, she studied with piano professors Irina Arustamova and Gulnora Umarova, theory and harmony classes with Galina Zolotykh and music history with Tatyana Petrenko, where she gained all necessary knowledge in the music area. Also, Alina was influenced by another great teacher and renowned Uzbek composer Jamila Naimova, where she gained experiences of jazz music, complex rhythms, improvisation, composition and arranging, especially folk tunes. The years spent in this school played an important part of her life. On the final year of education, she started auditioning for bachelor’s degree to five conservatoires in the UK and got accepted to all of them, where three conservatoires were happy to provide full scholarships. After successful graduation from Uspensky’s Lyceum in all musical subjects, in 2019, she was invited to continue her education at the Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance and was awarded “Alfred and Therese Kitchen”, “Trinity College London”, “Bagri Foundation” and “The David and Margaret Lipsey” full scholarships and currently studying with the Head of Keyboard Department professor Sergio De Simone and Martino Tirimo. She actively took part in many masterclasses with Joaquin Achucarro, Gabriel Kwok, Deniz Arman Gelenbe, Pablo Galdo, Alessio Bax and others. Meanwhile, she is finishing her bachelor’s degree in Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance and staying at Trinity Laban for her master’s degree.

Darja Scukina is a Latvian-born soprano and actress. Since the age of eight, she has performed regularly at the local Russian Drama theatre in Latvia. In 2011 Darja completed a Drama degree at the University of Huddersfield and in 2014 sang the role of Amor in Gluck’s Orpheus and Eurydice for Time Zone Theatre. Recent performances include The Gondoliers, The Yeomen of the Guard and The Pirates of Penzance with Forbear! Theatre at the International Gilbert and Sullivan festival. Darja is completing a Master of Music degree at The Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance.

Yuri Inoshita is a pianist based in London, who was born in Barcelona and raised in Paris and Tokyo. She started her piano lessons and musical training at the age of five. From the age of seven, she studied piano, solfege, and choir in the Conservatoire de Saint-Germain en Laye. After she moved to Japan at the age of 10, she started her training on dictation, harmony, sight reading and chamber music besides the piano lessons in Toho Gakuen School of Music. In 2017, she graduated from Toho Gakuen High School of Music, majoring in piano performance under the tuition of Mikako Abe. Besides her musical training in Toho Gakuen, she graduated from Hosei University, majoring in Intercultural Communication. Since the very young age, she has participated in several masterclasses taken by international pianists such as Jérôme Granjon, Pablo Galdo, Dmitri Alexeev and Pascal Rogé. Yuri is currently on her postgraduate studies at Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance, majoring in piano performance under the tuition of Martino Tirimo.
