Chun He Yu is a Taiwanese-UK based pianist. I came to UK 8 years ago to pursue my studies at Royal Birmingham Conservatoire with scholarship. In 2019, after achieving his degree, he continued my studies at the Royal College of music, where he earned a master’s degree in performance.
Whilst it was difficult during the pandemic, Chun continued to study and perform at RCM and strived to actively take part in as many opportunities to grow and learn as possible.
Throughout the education, Chun has performed in a handful of Master Classes lead by Colin Stone, Andrew Zolinsky, and Roberto Plano to name a few. As well as Lunchtime Concerts at RCM. I have often returned to Birmingham to perform as a soloist since my graduation.
Chun continued to grow academically and professionally in his field and have been actively seeking opportunities to develop my career across Chamber Music, Piano Teaching, and as a Soloist.
Chun has performed across the UK in cities like London and Birmingham, both chamber and solo repertoires. Outside of the UK, he has attended two music festivals in Lithuania and Italy. Chun is currently studying Artist Diploma under Mikhail Kazakevich.
