The Metamorfosi Ensemble is a group of five young and enthusiastic musicians formed at Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance. The members of the group are from many places around the world including Italy, Spain, America and the UK. They are all highly experienced in solo and chamber playing, having taken part in festivals and competitions worldwide. They performed a well attended and highly successful concert at the Old Royal Naval College Chapel in December 2020. Having been awarded a place on the Carne Chamber Mentorship Scheme 2020-21, Metamorfosi receive regular coaching from eminent chamber groups such as the Carducci Quartet and the Linos Trio. The group looks forward to performing around the UK and Europe in many more concerts over the summer. While the group likes to explore several different types of ensemble and exciting repertoire, such as string trio and piano quartet, today it presents itself as the full quintet, with guest violist Peter Fenech.
