Sorelle Singers is a trio of sopranos (Megan Strachan, Olivia Bell, Katie Blackwell), founded in 2019, who aim to change the face and fate of women in opera. Through unique and innovative performances, Sorelle reclaims and celebrates the powerhouse women of opera and musical theatre. Recent concerts include: Encore! (Nailsworth), A Woman Scorned (Pimlico), Some Enchanted Evening (OxfordStroud), Summertime (Oxford), as well as Sorelle: From the Sitting Room (a digital concert created during lockdown). Sorelle also champions accessibility, as well as education and outreach; recent projects include a digital workshop based on Puccini's 'Suor Angelica' created in collaboration with Opera Anywhere.

British Pianist Guy Murgatroyd enjoys an international reputation as one of a leading generation of pianists adaptable to many musical specialties including work as soloist, song pianist, répétiteur and musical director.
Initial studies where at the Royal Birmingham Conservatoire on a scholarship under Victor Sangiorgio and Pascal Nemirowski. During this time he was garlanded with every major award for piano accompaniment as well as academic tributes for the highest BMus degree marks in his class. Further studies as a Postgraduate at the Royal Academy of music in London under Michael Dussek resulted in numerous additional awards for performances as accompanist as well as a Master of Arts with distinction.
Guy is the director of music for independent London company Opera Rogue who have recently celebrated five star reviews for their 2019 production of Don Giovanni.
