Leonardo Timpano was born in Rome in 1998. He started studying the piano at the age of 6. When he was 15, he got a place to study in Rome Conservatoire “Santa Cecilia”, with M. Massimo Spada. At the same time, he attended some masterclasses with internationally renowed teachers as Daniel Rivera, Boris Petruchansky and Rustem Kudoyarov. In 2017 he got a place to study at Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance with M. Gabriele Baldocci. After that, he continued his undergraduate studies in Rome with Daniel Rivera and Alessandra Brustia; finally, he went to study at Fiesole Music School Academy (near Florence) with M. Enrico Stellini. Leonardo graduated in Fiesole in March 2021, with 110 + honours (the maximum mark). He won many prizes in different piano competitions such as: Giovani Musici (Rome 2010, 2011, 2012, 2013); J.S. Bach competition (Sestri Levante 2011, 2012); Visconti (Rome 2011); Città di Capranica (Capranica 2010); Città di Campagnano (Campagnano 2010); Insieme al pianoforte (Rome 2014); Premio accademia (Rome 2011, 2014); Insieme per fare (Rome 2014, 2015); Città di Alessandria (Alessandria 2016). Leonardo got a prize for his piano composition “Brivido” in 2012 and organised many concerts in Rome, like the charity concert for the immigrants welcoming association “Baobab” in 2017 and the Russian music concert in 2018. He often plays in piano duet with Daniella Nassar (Cyprus) and played harpsichord in different concerts in Rome (2016, 2017) and London (2018). At the moment, he is also working on a dramatic re-adaption of the Apuleio novel “Amore e Psiche” and on the history of “Putte di Venezia”.



Daniella Abou Nassar comes from a Cypriot-Lebanese background and started studying the piano and cello from the age of 6. Now based in London, she has performed internationally as a soloist and as part of chamber music groups and orchestras, giving recitals in Cyprus, Greece, Italy, and the United Kingdom in various concert halls such as the Charlton House, the Old Royal College Chapel, St. Alfege church and Wigmore Hall in London. Daniella also holds an ABRSM Piano Performance Diploma with Distinction. She is also a passionate music teacher and works with students of all ages and abilities, encouraging and supporting them in their musical journeys. Daniella is also the co-founder and principal cellist of the Trinity Laban Film and Videogame Orchestra and is a member of the Asteri Piano Duet with pianist Leonardo Timpano from Italy. Recently, she has attained the first prize in the Gladys Puttick Improvisation Competition 2021 and the Stratford and East London concerto competition 2020 for her interpretation of Ludwig Van Beethoven’s Fourth piano Concerto. Apart from classical repertoire she also experienced in jazz, musical theatre, contemporary music as well as taking on new commissions from composers. She is currently working on a new project incorporating her own paintings with Modest Mussorgksy’s Pictures at an Exhibition for solo piano. Daniella also composes and has a particular interest in composition for media, film, and animation. She has completed her BMus (Hons) degree with first-class honours in Piano Performance at Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance, under the tutelage of pianist Yekaterina Lebedeva and cellist Richard Markson. Daniella is grateful to be a recipient of the Universitas Foundation Scholarship.
