Trinity Laban at the EFG London Jazz Fest

Musicians from the TL community are heading to the Southbank Centre to perform as part of the celebrations-

The Jazz Hang with Tomorrow’s Warriors and Trinity Laban

At 2:15pm the freshest talent on the London Jazz Scene will perform with band leader Diân Gasper. The Jazz Hang is a weekly get together for aspiring young musicians based at Trinity Laban's iconic Greenwich site, led by Tomorrow’s Warriors’ music leaders.

Trinity Laban's Fletcher Henderson Project

At 3:30pm The Fletcher Henderson Project will play features the work of pianist, arranger and band leader Fletcher Henderson, one of the most influential musicians of this period. In addition, the band loves to perform the repertoire of other great bands of the Swing Era, including those of Count Basie, Duke Ellington and Benny Goodman. After touring local schools this term, The Fletcher Henderson Project was started in 2020 to give Trinity Laban students the opportunity to study and enjoy earlier periods of Jazz.
