Megan Allen is in her fourth year BMus degree at Trinity Laban studying with Naomi Butterworth. Having previously studied with Jurgen de Lemos in Colorado and Richard Bridgmont in Surrey, she has enjoyed being principal cellist of Denver Young Artists Orchestra, Surrey County Youth Orchestra and Trinity’s Sinfonia. Among many opportunities at Trinity, she has performed works such as Bloch’s Schelomo, Haydn Cello concerto in D and Walton’s Cello Concerto at masterclasses with renowned cellists Leonard Elschenbroich, Daniel Veis and Raphael Wallfisch.

Tomás Matos has participated in several national and international competitions, such as receiving 1st prize at Florinda Santos Competition, Marília Rocha Competition, International Music Competition Cidade do Fundão, 14th Sta International Competition Cecilia, Alexander Scriabin International Competition, National Piano Competition and an honorary prize at XIII Ria de Vigo Piano Competition. As part of the latter prize, he recorded his programme for a promotional CD for the competition. In 2011, he also participated in a concert by composer António Pinho Vargas, playing pieces from his 'Dinky Toys' album, at teatro Aveirense, in a Promenade Concert. Tomás was guest pianist for Alcochete's Band Impartial Society 15 January 1898, performing Gerschwin's "Rhapsody in Blue”. He was also invited by ARMAB to be the soloist of Gershwin's "Rhapsody in Blue". He performed recitals in São João da Madeira, Vila Praia de Âncora, Teatro do Campo Alegre. In 2014, he performed three recitals with the cellist Mara Lobo, following a project for the Guildhall School of Music and Drama. In 2015, he held a recital with trumpeter Jorge Almeida. In 2016, he performed Chopin's First Piano Concerto with the Centro Orchestra, following the 1st prize won in the National Piano Competition. He has also participated in Masterclasses with Fausto Neves, Jimmi Lee, Olga Pratts, Jaime Mota, Constantin Sandu, Álvaro Teixeira Lopes, Sergei Covalenco, Carles Lama, Guigla Katsarava, Vladimir Viardo, Dmitri Bashkirov, Arie Vardi, Yekaterina Lebedeva, and Artur Pizarro. In 2018, Tomás finished his Degree in Piano for Chamber Music and Accompaniment at the National Higher Academy of Orchestra, in the class of the teacher Artur Pizarro. Presently, he attends the Master of Music degree in Piano Performance at Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance, in the class of the teacher Yekaterina Lebedeva and holds the Jimmy Cross Scholarship.
