In 2008, Alina started her musical education at the Republican Specialized Academic Lyceum of Music named after V. Uspensky. During eleven years of education, she studied with piano professors Irina Arustamova and Gulnora Umarova, theory and harmony classes with Galina Zolotykh and music history with Tatyana Petrenko, where she gained all necessary knowledge in the music area. Also, Alina was influenced by another great teacher and renowned Uzbek composer Jamila Naimova, where she gained experiences of jazz music, complex rhythms, improvisation, composition and arranging, especially folk tunes. The years spent in this school played an important part of her life.
On the final year of education, she started auditioning for bachelor’s degree to five conservatoires in the UK and got accepted to all of them, where three conservatoires were happy to provide full scholarships. After successful graduation from Uspensky’s Lyceum in all musical subjects, in 2019, she was invited to continue her education at the Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance and was awarded “Alfred and Therese Kitchen”, “Trinity College London” and “Bagri Foundation” full scholarships and currently studying with the Head of Keyboard Department professor Sergio De Simone and Martino Tirimo. She actively took part in many masterclasses with Joaquin Achucarro, Gabriel Kwok, Deniz Arman Gelenbe, Pablo Galdo, Alessio Bax and others.

Pietro Iacopini was born in Florence, Italy, in 2002, and started to play the piano at the age of 10, with the teacher Ileana Horculescu.
After three years, he continued his piano studies at the Liceo Musicale “Dante” of Florence under Chiara Montelatici, and was admitted in 2017 to the Florence Conservatoire of Music in the piano class of Giovanna Prestia.
During these years he also studied with great interest harmony and musical analysis with Leonardo Abatangelo, and from 2016 to 2018 he attended a chamber music course with his piano trio at Fiesole School of Music coached by Matteo Fossi.
In 2019 he won an internal competition in the Florence Conservatoire, as a result of which he performed Mozart Piano concerto no.23 K488 with the Florentine Chamber Orchestra in the Conservatoire Hall.
The following year, he performed Bach Triple Concertos BWV 1063-1064 as part of the project “Universo Bach”, the complete performance of Bach keyboard concertos realized by Florence Conservatoire in collaboration with Florentine Chamber orchestra in October 2020.
He is currently living in London, studying piano performance with Sergio De Simone in Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance.

As a duo, Pietro and Alina started to play together when they were invited to perform Leonard Bernstein’s ‘Symphonic Dances’ from his well-known West Side Story arranged for two pianos and percussion ensemble. From this point, they started to work on the pieces for two pianos and four hands.
