Hanami Oda is currently studying MMus Piano Performance at Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance with Mikhail Kazakevich. Originally from Japan, She started playing the piano at the age of 5. In 2018, she completed her undergraduate from TOHO GAKUEN college of music. And She received her Postgraduate Diploma from Royal Birmingham Conservatoire in 2019 where she studied with Professor Julian Jacobson, Mikhail Kazakevich and Pascal Nemirovski. She has been a prize winner at K Classic Piano Competition 2020 and 4th prize at Putra International Piano Competition.
She is particularly interested in chamber music. She has performed in many different ensembles in UK, France, Germany, Taiwan and Japan.
Diego Coral is a Mexican violinist. He started learning the violin at the age of 8 and became passionate with the repertoire and with chamber music from a very early stage. He graduated from the Superior School or Arts of Yucatan, where he studied with Timothy Lee Myall and Christopher Collins Lee. Ever since graduating, he’s had a busy life as an orchestra and chamber musician in Yucatan, Mexico. He has participated in many violin and chamber music workshops and festivals in Mexico and abroad, and has played in masterclasses with Leland Chen, Koh Gabriel Kameda, Susanne Stanzeleit, amongst others. He is currently studying a Master of Music course at the Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance with Ofer Falk. Diego is a scholar and has been awarded the Trinity College London scholarship and the GREAT Mexico scholarship for the duration of his course.
A native of the state of Wisconsin,
Alex Ferkey has given performances throughout the United States and the United Kingdom. While freelancing in the United States, he served as the Assistant Principal bass of the Dubuque Symphony Orchestra, and performed with numerous orchestras within the Midwest, including the Sioux City, Ottumwa, Quincy, and Central Wisconsin Symphony Orchestras. Ferkey is also an active chamber musician and has given recitals and masterclasses across the USA and UK. Ferkey received a BMus from the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point and a MA from the University of Iowa. He is currently pursuing an MMus at the Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance, where he studies with Leon Bosch. Mr. Ferkey is generously supported in his studies through the Paul Monk, Loveday, and Trinity College London Scholarships.
Peter Fenech is a Maltese born violist currently pursuing a Master’s Degree at Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance under the pedagogy of British violist Roger Chase. His studies are generously supported with the help of the Drapers’ Scholarship, The Joan Greenfield Fellowship Trust Scholarship and the Trinity College London Scholarship. Peter completed his undergraduate studies in 2020 and was awarded the Trinity College Silver Medal for Strings for his distinctive contribution made during his time at Trinity Laban. During his studies, Peter has performed in numerous orchestral projects and notably in side-by-side performances with members of the BBC Symphony Orchestra, the Philharmonia and the Bournemouth Symphony Orchestra. Peter has performed in masterclasses with world renowned violists such as Nobuko Imai, Lawrence Power and Krzysztof Chorzelski of the Belcea Quartet.
