Carolina Cury is a classical-contemporary pianist, singer, songwriter and improviser from Venice, Italy. She has completed her Master’s at Trinity Laban Conservatoire in 2020 and is continuing her studies on the Artist Diploma programme under the guidance of Deniz Gelenbe.
In 2021, she won the Trinity Laban’s Gold Medal award, the most prestigious in the conservatoire; in 2022, she won the first prize at the John Halford Competition both for the performance of contemporary piano works and for a new work for piano, voice and electronics in collaboration with composer Jan Stevuliak.
Carolina has performed in international music halls, such as Teatro La Fenice (Sale Apollinee) in Venice, Carnegie Hall (Weill Hall) in New York, Megaron Theatre (Mitropoulos Hall) in Athens, Southwark Cathedral in London.
In 2020 she founded the electronic-experimental music duo Hypereyess with and sound artist Konstantinos Damianakis.
