Rachel Messiter is a Junior Fellow at Trinity Laban Conservatoire, where she is studying oboe with Christopher O’Neal, cor anglais with Alan Garner and reed-making with Maxwell Spiers. Rachel has completed a Professional Diploma and Postgraduate Advanced Diploma at TL, both with distinction; she also won the Evelyn Rothwell Oboe Competition and was twice awarded the Beryl Maggs Prize for Wind Instruments. She has worked as a freelance player with the Orchestra of St John’s and the London Festival Orchestra.

Yukiko Shinohara studied at Tokyo Metropolitan Senior High School for Fine Arts and Music, before moving to U.K to finish her higher education. She obtained BMus at Goldsmith’s College, University of London and MMus and performance diplomas at Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance. Since her successful debut solo recital in South Bank Centre, Yukiko has been actively engaging as a soloist as well as a collaborative pianist for over 10 years, performing in major venues and festivals in U.K, Europe and Japan. Yukiko is a staff accompanist at Trinity Laban.
